2020/2021 season starts in October and ends in March

We plan to have registration open in September 2020 but will keep everyone updated on the developments as things progress over the summer months.  

We hope skating will start again in early October.

RETURNING MEMBERS ONLYThe WCSSC online registration is now closed. Each fall our registration is done through Speed Skating Canada – click on the links below to see how the registration will work for you:

Register as a member if you are registering yourself as a skater
Register as a family if you are registering your children as skaters
Remember to select WCSSC when completing your registration!

NEW MEMBERS ONLY – Please email us at We will walk you through the registration process and help you select the program that best suits your child(ren).

OPEN HOUSE –  Will take place in September 2020 at the Corydon Community Centre. All are welcome to come and try skating on speed skates – bring a friend too! We will also be accepting registrations that evening as well. Remember your helmet!

PARENT MEETING – Will take place in September 2020 at the Corydon Community Centre. All members new and returning are required to attend. Important information on this season’s program will be discussed.

Fees 2019-2020

A season typically starts the first week of October and runs through to second last week of March.  Fees are pro-rated depending on skaters start date.

Payment for all registrations and skate rentals are done online with credit card and are subject to a service fee of approximately 4%.

RECREATIONAL: Participates in club level events only.

COMPETITIVE: Participates in any provincial competitions outside club level events, but not at national events.

ELITE: Participates at provincial, national and international events.

ASSOCIATE: Each skater must have one parent/guardian register as an associate member. Each parent volunteer must also register as an associate member for insurance purposes.

Skate Rental
$125 skate rental fee for season
Does not include skate sharpening fees ($5.00 per sharpening).  Skaters are responsible for maintenance of the skates through the season and to be returned in good condition.
