The Manitoba Speed Skating Association (MSSA) holds a number of meets throughout the season and we encourage all our skaters – Group 1 to Group 3 to attend these events.

These meets are a great way for skaters to see how they have improved throughout the season and its a great community experience.

These meets are run by volunteer parents – everything from timing to lap counting. Its a fun day for parents and kids all working together and learning something new!

The MSSA short track (indoor) meets are held in Portage la Prairie at the Stride Place which has an amazing facility for these meets.

The MSSA long track (outdoor) meets are held at the Susan Auch Oval.
