WCSSC is selling skate guards* this season – $15 pair. Please email us at wcspeedskating@gmail.com to purchase a pair.

*Skate guards are mandatory for club skates as they help prolong the life of the blades!

Please do not store your blades with the skate guards on – the guards are only to be used for walking from the change room to the ice.

When storing your blades between sessions, please use skate covers. You can either purchase them online at places like ‘I Love Speed Skating‘ or you can cut a pair of socks down the side to cover the blades. Make sure your blades are very dry before storing them so they don’t get a build up of rust on them!
